pretty normal wednesday

today was a pretty normal wednesday.. i woke up and worked out and right (literally.. RIGHT) as i finished camille came over and informed me i had to teach in 10 min.. (2 hours earlier than usual) and so i freaked out and tried to gather all my stuff, unstinkafy myself and get teacher dressed in 5 min. so i went into the bathroom to change and try and wipe the sweat now coming more profusly off of my face when lo and behold i lock my self in the bathroom. literally. the doornob would turn but the door was stuck. we tried keying it and running it down but nothing was working. i maybe was freaking out thinking i was going to die in the bathroom. maybe not.. okay i was. but luckly ive been obsessed with the tv show 'chuck' lately and i learned a move or two form sarah and casey. so i decided i was going to kick the door down. i warned everyone on the other side and got all my force behind me and gave a nice HIII-YAAA! and BOOM!!!! i legitly KICKED the door down. and i mayyy have broken it. oops. sorry miss tere. but this is one for the record books. or at least one for my blog.. book.

but like i said.. pretty normal for wednesday. :)

in mexico there is lots of really cool colored walls on the street. good lookin girls on the street. and so camille had this cool idea and she decided to have a photoshoot. dependin on the street. i saw her pictures then made her go do the same for me. i was definitely in the top 3.

i could be a part. time. model.. (but i'd probly still have to keep my normal job)

:) so in mexico they dance. so obviously i have to dance too. here are my feeble attempts at being a salsa queen. dont worry.. ill be good by the time i leave.. (hopefully..) ;)

i love my life in mexico. like seriously for reals i might not come home. ;)
nachooooo :) this is alote. its corn on the cob con mayo y chile powder y limon y salt. its suprisingly delecious. except this one burned my boca.
first stop on vacation :) we are at these ruins called cam.. somthing.

soooo.. i slept in a hut.. in the mexican jungle :) .... this isnt the one i slept it.. but its kinda like it. but mine was smaller :)

to get to our hut we had to cross a legit rope bridge. apparently im terrrrrrified. ;) we went kayaking!!

sooo we kayaked to monkey island.. and didnt even know we were on monkey island!! .. this is monkey island :) we didnt see any monkeys :( but we saw their.... presents.... alllll over the island.

next up.. mud baths :) if i was brown like kenz, this is what i would look like :) we had to sit on the dock and let it dry.. to bad the sun was hiding all weekend at it was FRIGIDDDD. then we freakin got to swim in the alligator infested water and I LOVED IT!!! they were scared to join me at first but then i rubbed off on them :)
this was the name of my 'resort' / the island we stayed at... seriously best 'resort' EVERRRR

so this week 2 of the teachers here had birthdays!! :) jessica y dillon! jessicas aweeesome host family threw her a fiesta and it was seriously SOOO fun. oh my heck. theres a video from the pinata down there (look down) in the post before but here are some pictures of the evenings festivities :) i tried to put them in order but im too lazy :) enjoyy :)

this actually isssnt from the party but this is my ADORABLE little brother hailing us a taxi to go to dinner. he even stuck his hand up in the air and yelled 'taxi!!' gahhh so cute :)
