two of my very favorite blogs to read would be that of my beautiful cousin marlee, and of my lovely co-worker (and now official facebook friend) tif. they are wonderful and if you've never read either of their blogs, go do it. right now. tif's most recent post was a post of gratitude, listing things she was grateful for in her life. that inspired me to do the same. but, i decided to make my gratitude post a hybrid with a love letter (as seen on mar's blog here) to the most wonderful person to ever come into my life. excuse my unoriginal fusion of these two ideas, but i just couldn't help myself.

hello you,

i know you know who you are seeing as there is only one person you could be. you are you and i could not be more grateful for that in and of it self. you are the light of my life, the pep to the step and the tune to my song. everyday, every single one of 'um, you give me more reasons to smile, to laugh and to perservere through whatever the day sets at my feet to hurdle over. i know i've told you this before but you, my love, are my happy thought. always have been, always will be. i couldn't begin to express gratitude enough for the lessons i've learned with you, the things you've taught me yourself, and most importantly, the things you remind me of daily.

you remind me what the word love means and how it's supposed to feel; how its expressed and shown and how people who love each other treat one another.

you remind me that i am of noble birth. that i am a daughter of a King.

you remind me how insanely blessed we are to have the knowledge that we do. that we shouldn't take the absolutely incredible benefits we have for granted.

you remind me the importance of the little things, the things that keep us, and our testimonies strong.

you remind me that i need to work first, and play second. (even if my yellow personality expresses great disagreement.) ;)

you remind me to keep my goals in mind. to stay focused. to keep sight of my dreams, and never stop trying until they are reached.

you remind me that it's okay to feel what i feel. and express what i feel. even if its not happiness all the time.

you remind me the importance of families, and how incredibly blessed we both are to have the ones we do.

you remind me that hot chocolate is always good, any time of day, no matter the temperature outside.

you remind me that it's good to expand my horizons. step outside the box. there is no growing in a comfort zone.

you remind me of the literal meaning of the word charity. clu clu clu.

you remind me thats its okay to be me, exactly how God made me because He and you, love me just the way i am.

...and that's just the beginning.

so to you, my one and only, i thank you. i thank you for giving me everything and more i could ever ask in an eternal companion. thank you for treating me the way you do, for supplying my life with 100% and complete happiness, and once again, for being y.o.u. i love you with every possible inch of me. i could not be more excited about eternity with you.
